I was most impressed with the employees here. Both guys were always smiling and very friendly. My friend had a hard time deciding what to get and the employees managed to make suggestions while assisting other customers coming in. Both of our desserts were exactly as described and delicious. They also have a pretty full menu from hot dogs to fries to grilled cheese and next time I'm in the area I may stop by for a full meal. The interior was very clean and the parking lot was clean with no weeds growing around or such that tells me they take pride in their business. I was impressed.

I have been going to tastee freeze since I was little and have great memories but today as I went to order my favorite, small cone dipped in the coconut (by dip it's like a chocolate, cherry or other semi Hardening dip) he handed a come instead with raw coconut all over it. When my husband then said "she wanted the dip not raw coconut" he got very confrontational and rude saying that they have never had that, which in fact they have (I used to have it all the time as it was my favorite) my husband said well yes you did, we where here last year and you did to which he was basically fighting with my husband over it my husband then finally said "ok I don't want to get into an argument with you can we just order a cone dipped in cherry then" he tried to give it back but he would not take it and then charged us to then do a dip cone of another flAvor instead of swapping the mistake order. The man was older, bald, and had a birth mark on his face. Horrible attitude!!!!!

Used to go all the time for years.... And this year the price skyrocketed!!!! Three hot fudge sundays was 18 bucks.... Sad... I will head down 95th to the other ice cream place.... 1/2 the price

They have okay food and if you are into various flavors of treats okay. I have pulled up to the drive in window twice this summer and driven away without anything. They never acknowledged me, never came to the window. Sheesh. Notice the traffic jamming in their parking lot--not!! Think McDonald's at lunchtime opposite day. Hear that lone cricket chirping? Somebody would have gotten an atomic wedgie and then fired like a Saturn 5 rocket if I had been the manager and seen that happen. Today they were the only place around that was close to the dentist where my daughter was getting her teeth cleaned. Hamburgers were okay. French fries were okay. Coke was, well, a coke. Yawwwn, snore.... they need to ramp it up--flame broil their meat, use better ice-cream, something, because places like Oberweis Dairy, Sonic and others, are opening up cans of whoop-a$$ on them.

A great place for some good old soft serve ice cream. It is an excellent alternative to the Baskin Robbins that seem to opening up almost everywhere. Most Tastee Freezes especially in the city are just walk up stands that close for the winter. This location is open all year, they have a food menu and a little dining area too. The prices are much lower than what you would pay at a Baskin Robbins and everyone who works here is really friendly. I wouldn't eat a meal here but it is a great place for a snack. The Pecan Delite and the Almond Delite sundaes are out of this world.

These guys have become very hit or mess over the past couple of years. Family member used to work there years ago and my own family have been coming here on average once a week. So we are regulars and have seen them at their best and unfortunately what seems to be more often, at their worst. Wait times at the drive-through are long, our usual order of freezes always comes overflowing and messy and the prices keep increasing. Today was a trifecta of a messy malt, a forgotten order and rude service. I ultimately left with no food, a four dollar malt and two hungry kids. Needless to say I will be going elsewhere for the rest of the summer. Hopefully these guys can turn it around because I would rather support a local business than the big chains. But they are not going to keep my loyalty with this kind of service.

Love this place but the staff is a hit or miss. Sometimes you get good service other times not. Last time I was in one of the young girls was distracted with her phone and making herself ice cream before she took my order. The other young girl was wiping down tables complaining about the boss to the girl who worked there. When I'm out with my family to get some dessert the last thing I want to hear is annoying employees complaining about their job.

Not a bad place, I used to go here all the time as a kid. Teenage workers so they get my order messed up from time to time. Their taco are surprisingly really good. And I couldn't live without their cheese fries. BUT their prices have really gone up. :/

Awesome medium sized cones. Walked here with our baby and dog over 2 1/2 miles. Was well worth it! They have awesome ice cream!!
